Matt Locke has spent his career behind a microphone. He started podcasting out of Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2012, built his broadcasting career at WOWO Fort Wayne and 95.3 MNC in South Bend, and now hosts mid-mornings on WBAP News Talk 820 / 93.3 FM in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Talk radio is a job that runs on a single question: who decides what the audience gets to hear? Eye See is that question pushed into the near future and pointed at something harder to argue with than a news bulletin: the pictures arriving directly in your head.
Eye See is his debut novel.
Talk radio taught me that whoever controls the feed controls the argument. I wanted to write about what happens when the feed is your eyesight.
